Todd Matheson, DMD
I was raised in a small farming community in southeast Idaho, where I went to school and received my Bachelor of Science degree from BYU-Idaho. I graduated Cum Laude from Temple University School of Dentistry.
I love being a dentist in Lakewood – it’s a great avenue for me to use my personal artistic and perfectionist side. The reason I studied dentistry is because I enjoy interacting with other people and working with my hands.
My goal is to provide my patients with the highest care possible and restoring that perfect smile. I love helping to ease nervous patients and help them to understand how gentle dentistry can be.
When I’m not at the dental office, I’m spending time with my wife and four kids. I enjoy being outdoors, camping, fishing, and hunting. I also enjoy playing and watching all sports and just hanging out and barbecuing with friends and family.
I graduated from the University of the Pacific dental school in 2008 and spent the last eight years serving as a dentist in the United States Air Force. Through the USAF, I have completed two advanced dental residencies and successfully challenged the American Board of General Dentistry, becoming a Diplomate and joining the less than 1% of American general dentists who are ABGD certified. We have had the pleasure to move around to different areas to include Mississippi, Japan, Texas, and California.
